I'm building a model "Rocket" in 3.5" gauge live steam, (LBSC's "Rainhill") and my only complaint is that when I stop the video to look at the locomotive to determine the paint scheme, it goes all blurry and you cannot see actual details. The camera is focused in on a tiny part of the locomotive, and you cannot see how the moving parts actually work, because you cannot see what they are attached to at either end. It would be nice to have the camera pulled back another ten feet and be able to see everything. Also use a different camera where when you stop the video, it leaves a clear picture to examine for details. But Thank You for what IS there. Several other "ROCKET" videos literally DON'T have Rocket in the video at all. You can see an edge of it from time to time, but there are no actual frames with the entire "ROCKET" in view. You see the backs of people, and you see the trackside scenery, but only a hint that ROCKET was even used to haul all the people. You DID capture the experience of taking a ride on "ROCKET", though. The steam sounds, the chuffing, the clanking, and the sound of the wheels on the rail were wonderful!

Saw this at the Bourse in Paris - the comments by the artists are that these men are no longer capable of destroying the world anymore. They are just left with their thoughts. Provocative, and very interesting.

My family spent several happy weekends at the Towersey Festival. For the regulars in the crowd there were several favourites but Roy Bailey was uniquely loved. Every year he would do his relaxed and homely chat, and tell us he was getting old and this would be his last Towersey. No way! The last time I saw Roy at Towersey, he got the audience singing along to "Skin" and then very slowly walked off the stage and let us continue without him. A wonderful man❤❤

This is an installation called "old persons' home". Those are not real people but they are supposed to resemble world leaders.

Look what socialism has done to this country . . . that said, I love his style and his charisma.

So to give context this is an art installation by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu called Old Persons' Home at the Saatchi Gallery in London, UK. It was initially installed in 2007. And going over previous images and videos it seems that it is had a few visual updates over the years but the core of the piece of work has stayed the same.
